Ques: if I use a proxy server to visit a website and it's been programmed to trace IP addresses:?

Q1. My computer IP address won't be traced (instead the proxy server IP address will be caught) - YES or NO

Q.2 Supposing I use one of the proxy servers from the list: http://proxy.org/cgi_proxies.shtml - will its IP address change everytime I use it for the same website - YES or NO - if YES, then by what amount? Is it the last 3 digits of the IP address alone? Or will it be a complete change?

3. Should I use a CGI proxy or PHP proxy? Which one is better?

Ques: if I use a proxy server to visit a website and it's been programmed to trace IP addresses:?
yes, it won't pick up your own ip address, so no you won't be caught. that's the whole idea of a proxy - hiding your own ip address.

It will always be the same ip address everytime you use it. it's a fixed ip address.

according to the site i use it says:

CGI proxies are usually faster than PHP. Another advantage of CGI script is SSL support. CGI web proxy can be configured to proxify secure content while PHP proxies don't support HTTPS web sites.

I use both but cgi is better.
