Proxy server?

i want to know more about the proxy server. in our office we have broad band internet connection throuh proxy server all are connecting to internet. here some of the people we dont want to give the acces but the people illigaly put the proxy ip no and use the net connection i want to know who are all illigaly using the proxy ip any software for available for freely. thanks in advance

This is a difficult question to answer with the information given.





If you have control of the proxy server, its logs should tell you who connected and for what so you can monitor it that way. With no logs, you can see snapshots of who's connected with netstat. These snapshots would only show you who is retrieving a page at the moment. Firewall software on the proxy would let you select the IP addresses that are permitted to connect to it.
