Proxy server?

How do I set up my pc to show I am from another country (IP address wise) I was told if I go to a site that does proxy server service that it will work. I have had no luck to this point. Any ideas?

You know, a lot of web proxies are hosted in the US, so if you are coming from US, this method definitely won't work for you. If not, then when you use a web proxy like http://www.keepaway.info/ to access websites, you will be received as you are from the US. Got it? If you are from US, then you should find yourself a web proxy which is hosted outside the US.

Reply:Proxy servers are VERY hard to find -- especially anonymous ones that will mask your IP like you want instead of spilling it. There are hundreds of proxy sites out there that list servers, but in my experiences, 99% of them are usually no longer working because they get abused.





Do some googling for "Anonymous proxies" -- you'll see what I mean. Browse through some and maybe you'll get lucky.
